The lubricating sprocket has an additional plastic sprocket on the periphery of the polyurethane foam, which allows the polyurethane foam to rotate with the chain. This approach provides adequate and effective continuous lubrication of the open gears and chain, and prevents excessive lubrication that could contaminate the environment.
Detailed Description
The lubrication gear consists of a hollow shaft and a perforated polyurethane foam. During operation, lubricant flows through the inlet of the shaft to the radial outlet at the other end, providing a constant supply of lubricant grease to the polyurethane foam.
The lubricating sprocket has an additional plastic sprocket on the periphery of the polyurethane foam, which allows the polyurethane foam to rotate with the chain. This approach provides adequate and effective continuous lubrication of the open gears and chain, and prevents excessive lubrication that could contaminate the environment.
